Can Women Park Cars as Well as Men?

Women, put away your smugness at the entrance. Seems like men actually are better than women at steering their automobiles into a parking lot, if one is to consider a fresh investigation out of Europe.

At front-on, driving backwards as well as parallel parking, male drivers outdid female drivers by driving their vehicles in the central point of the area, according to the study that found a reference in a top newspaper.

Women drivers not just did not perform as proficient a job and also took roughly 20 seconds in excess to park the given automobiles.

I Have to Get a New Car

I now need to put on the market my 2000 Infinity (pegged at just about $8K) because our home now wants a bigger automobile (2 adults, 2 children and another on the way).

I should point out that the vehicle has treated me fairly well and I have, not at all, felt the shortahge of power; and the only reason that I hope to put it on the market is 'coz I, at the moment, want a larger vehicle.

Please recommend any cars around this value that are:
a) larger
b) comparable minimal emission
c) trustworthy on short trips (because that's what we largely do)
d) proficient on fuel efficiency

What's critical is that the vehicle should be a product of a reasonably dependable manufacturer, and also the spare parts are easy to come by and not very costly, etc.

Ultimately, if the vehicle which I mention has treated you properly although you just must swap it for a car that gives your family more space, in that case which one would you pick? I am keen on the look of the Nissan Xterra. However I believe it could be tricky to get one in the given price range. SUVs would be convenient for our home seeing that we stay in the Andes and a few off road tracks exist, however it's not necessary for it to be an SUV.

While I await I imagine I'll simply hold on driving a rental automobile

Thank you for every suggestions.

Dad's New Car

My father just returned his Toyota 4Runner and is looking to lease something else. He previously articulated that the previous SUV was a little taxing on his spine and also that the power was more than he wanted… So he's on the lookout for a 4 cylinder or a small 6, and it has to be SUV in view of the fact that he enjoys kayaking, etc… and this is the solitary capacious car in the house, I drove his car several times to relocate stuff all over given that I own a Toyota Prius and my partner a Scion Xa.

Anyway, the cost; it's unquestionably below US $28k taking into account taxes and fees.

He did like the GMC Acadia, but it does not have adequate bite, the Turbo variant has admirable muscle and drives well, but for that much he opines he could do better.

He got a splendid bargain at turbocharged 4-cylinder engine 200-hp 2.0-liter Volkswagen Passat … but he has a dependability concern because our Audi Q7 and VW Beetle were constantly having problems. I told him that through a 36-month lease he shouldn't face any troubles (as opposed to driving the Audi like he had for over 5 years).

We also though about the contemporary Subaru Outback, a very enjoyable car, one can feel quality all over when you look inside… My father also said that he would have purchased the vehicle already if it wasn't for the salesman was such a douchebag… I feel inculing taxes it reaches $30k or so, but he seems to be fond of the vehicle a lot.

He drove the Toyota FJ Cruiser (4 cylinders) and said that it drove quite badly… I could not check that one, although he does look to be sure that his next SUV will not be a Toyota.

If you are aware of any good choices that he can look into while not having to spend a ridiculous amount of money, your propositions will be most welcome.
